Fairfield Police Department?s dispatch log of calls for Monday included:
4:32 a.m. someone had struck the concrete-filled crosswalk sign for school. Officer moved it out of the street, along with debris and pieces of a vehicle were removed from the road.
7:16 a.m. Fairfield Community School District Auxiliary Services Director Fred McElwee reported the portable stop sign normally in front of Fairfield High School missing; it was located a block away.
10:30 a.m. resident reported losing a olive-green and gray wallet.
2:02 p.m. resident reported losing a camera at the dog park.
2:25 p.m. resident reported continually receiving phone calls from a scammer; the phone caller says resident has won money and should buy a Green Dot card to present to the caller.
4:18 p.m. a rear license plate was stolen off a vehicle while parked at Fairfield Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store.
9:22 p.m. report of debris in road; removed.
One 911 call hung up with no emergency.
