The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Court Street and Lowe Avenue. The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Court Street and Lowe Avenue. According to the accident report, a westbound 1996 Toyota Corolla driven by Lisa M. Marell, 57, 610 South D St., stopped at the stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection, making contact with a southbound 2002 Lincoln Continental driven by Peter Dollive, 62, 605 N. Court St. Marell was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign. Estimated damages are $2,000 to Dollive?s vehicle and $3,000 to Marell?s vehicle.
