A silver 2006 Scion was reported stolen at 9:10 a.m. Saturday from the 700 block of South Third Street.
Cody Lee Wayne Young, 23, of 1300 W. Jackson Ave., No. 5, was arrested at 11:32 a.m. Saturday at home on a warrant for failure to appear for a hearing on operating while intoxicated, second.
Police responded to an accident at 2 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of East Lowe Ave. Choo Julia C. Wong, 58 of 70 E. Lowe Ave. Apt. 424, backed out of a parking spot driving a 1997 Toyota Camry and struck a 2000 Dodge Ram truck sitting unoccupied, owned by Michael Linn Kelley, 65 of 406 E. Pierce Ave. Wong?s Camry has an estimated $600 in damages; Kelley?s Dodge has an estimated $1,000 in damages. No charges were filed.
David Allen Kowellewski, 37, of 805 W. Depot Ave., was cited for failure to yield right of way on a through street at 11:53 p.m. Saturday. Kowellewski was driving a 2003 Toyota Corolla westbound on Briggs Avenue. He stopped at a stop sign, did not see a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Gabriel Elijah Jaquez, 18, of 806 North B St., traveling northbound on B Street and Kowellewski entered the intersection, where the vehicles struck one another. Joquez did not have a stop sign for the intersection and had the right of way. The Corolla had an estimated $1,500 in damages; the Grand Am an estimated $1,000 in damages.
