Fairfield police arrested Brian Edward Jennings, 18, of 308 S. Fourth St., at 2:18 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Highland Street. Jennings was charged with operating while influenced-first offense and possession of marijuana.

Peter Chilton Arnold, 20, of 414 N. Main St., was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Saturday at Madison Avenue and Highland Street and charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age.

Police were called to a two-vehicle accident at 2:49 p.m. Friday at the intersection of South Sixth Street and Madison Avenue. Bobby Gene Robinson, 78 of 2133 241st St., and Reena Michelle Wickenkamp, 34, of 308 W. Briggs Ave., both stopped at stop signs at the intersection. Robinson said another motorist waved him through, and his and Wickenkamp?s vehicles collided. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to Robinson?s 2010 Nissan and $1,805 to Wickenkamp?s 2000 Pontiac. Robinson was charged with failure to yield right of way.
