Fairfield Police Department issued a press release today to clarify arrests of Jeffrey Allen Reed, 34.
Reed was arrested at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Department of Correctional Services, Probation/Parole Office in Fairfield, on a probation violation.
Reed also was charged (arrested) by police at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Jefferson County Jail.

Fairfield Police Department issued a press release today to clarify arrests of Jeffrey Allen Reed, 34.
Reed was arrested at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Department of Correctional Services, Probation/Parole Office in Fairfield, on a probation violation.
Reed also was charged (arrested) by police at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Jefferson County Jail.
These additional charges are the result of an investigation initiated Sunday by police. Reed is charged with willful injury, a Class C felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a serious misdemeanor.
Criminal charges are merely an accusation.
The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
