Fairfield Police Department responded at 3:20 p.m. Sunday to an accident in the 2700 block of West Burlington Avenue. Wendy Rivera Rivas Xiomara, 34, of Columbus Junction, was driving a 2001 Ford Focus and failed to yield at the stop sign exiting Walmart drive, colliding with a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Joseph Cash-Kelly Lancaster, 16, of Fairfield. Fairfield Police Department responded at 3:20 p.m. Sunday to an accident in the 2700 block of West Burlington Avenue. Wendy Rivera Rivas Xiomara, 34, of Columbus Junction, was driving a 2001 Ford Focus and failed to yield at the stop sign exiting Walmart drive, colliding with a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Joseph Cash-Kelly Lancaster, 16, of Fairfield. Xiomara had two passengers, ages 12 and 7, in the back seat who were transported to Jefferson County Health Center by ambulance. Damage estimates were $5,000 to the Ford and $3,000 to the Dodge. Xiomara was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign; no insurance; and driving without a driver?s license.

5:11 a.m. disturbing the peace complaint.
10:35 a.m. found dog near the country club, possible Shitzu, furry black and white, weighing about 12 pounds, wearing a purple collar, no tags.
3:53 p.m. report of an electrical line box down, line knotted.
4:33 p.m. possible scam reported.
6:20 p.m. harassing texts reported.
Saturday
10:51 a.m. caller reported the theft of a green BMX bike valued at $550.
10:56 a.m. caller reported two males were panhandling on a corner of the downtown square.
Friday
12:05 a.m. Kyle Connelly was arrested for probation violation.
12:45 p.m. two dogs running loose, on small, light brown with pointed ears wearing a collar; one large black, possibly a pit bull, has large muzzle, no collar.
5:19 p.m. resident reported a hit-and-run to a parked car; driver?s side door was damaged. The car driven is red and will have damage to front passenger-side bumper.
7:40 p.m. stolen wallet reported.
8:16 p.m. citizen called dispatch on way of out town, reports being assaulted, kicked out of a bar and refused use of the bathroom. Subject was told would need to talk with an officer to press charges; didn?t contact an officer.
8:21 p.m. report of a texted scam.
9:16 p.m. complaint of loud music.
10:58 p.m. caller reported hearing a female screaming help over and over, thinks it?s maybe from a house on Madison Avenue; officer drove around and walked the neighborhood, unable to locate.
