Fairfield Police Department arrested Christian Steven Tosh, 18, of 204 E. Hempstead Ave., No. 1, at 2:07 a.m. today at Fairfield Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store, 1300 W. Burlington Ave., on fifth-degree theft (under $200) and public intoxication ? enhanced.
Matthew White, 19, of Fairfield was arrested and released on a police citation at 3:50 p.m. Sunday at Leisure Living, No. 69, for use of fireworks.

Police received a report at 9:40 a.m. Sunday of two pit bull dogs from the 500 block of North E Street running loose in the area of Lowe Avenue and E Street. A citation was issued for dogs at large.
Police investigated at 12:41 p.m. Saturday an attempted third-degree burglary at Norm?s Storage units, 12th Street and Broadway Avenue.
Christopher Wayne Batterson, 22, of 502 N. Main St., Apt 2, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of South D Street for operating while intoxicated, first offense.
Robert Langston was arrested at 9:14 p.m. Friday at 909 N. 10th St., on a warrant for prohibited acts, fraudulent prescription.
Christian Steven Tosh, 18, was arrested at 5:20 p.m. Friday at the soccer fields in the 2500 block of West Grimes Avenue for providing tobacco to a minor.
