Fairfield Police Department investigated a hit and run accident at 3 p.m. Dec. 22. A parked 2008 Chevrolet K3500 pickup truck had an estimated $2,600 in damages.

Monday

7:56 a.m. resident reported a 2001 white F150 truck was broken into sometime between Saturday night and Sunday night; the truck was locked, and no windows were broken. Resident wasn?t sure if anything was missing, but said it looked as if someone had gone through the truck.

8:20 p.m. Heather Philips was arrested on a warrant for providing false information to public entities. She was turned over to jail staff.

Tuesday

4:42 p.m. Brian Jennings was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at a show cause hearing.

Wednesday

2:04 p.m. resident reported mailbox knocked off post; caller was woken at 4 a.m. by someone beating on front door, got up to answer, and saw a pickup truck driving away. Tracks in yard go up to the front of the house.
