The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 5:14 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 23rd Street and Stone Avenue. The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 5:14 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 23rd Street and Stone Avenue. According to the accident report, a northbound 1998 Cadillac DeVille driven by Terry J. Dickerson of Washington, Iowa, took too wide of right turn and made contact with a westbound 1998 GMC Sonoma driven by Jerry Main, 1107 W. Gear Ave. Dickerson was cited for failure to yield half a roadway. Estimated damages are $2,000 to each vehicle.
Thomas Arthur Halley, 67, 204 E. Burlington Ave., was arrested at 5:52 p.m. Monday at 1300 W. Burlington Ave. for criminal trespassing and simple domestic abuse assault.
