The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 10:09 a.m. Saturday, close to the intersection of 28th Street and Burlington Avenue. According to the accident report, a 2001 Buick Century driven by Jean Eileen Six, 86, 306 W. Polk Ave., was traveling eastbound on Burlington Ave. when it was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Kaitlyn Marie Mineart, 18, 614 W. Jackson Ave. Mineart?s vehicle ...

The Fairfield Police Department responded to an accident at 10:09 a.m. Saturday, close to the intersection of 28th Street and Burlington Avenue. According to the accident report, a 2001 Buick Century driven by Jean Eileen Six, 86, 306 W. Polk Ave., was traveling eastbound on Burlington Ave. when it was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Kaitlyn Marie Mineart, 18, 614 W. Jackson Ave. Mineart?s vehicle made contact with the rear bumper of Six?s vehicle. Estimated damages to both vehicles are $1,500.
