The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

Wednesday

8:32 a.m. ? Casey?s General Store on Burlington Avenue reported receiving counterfeit money.

9:06 a.m. ? Roosevelt Community Recreation Center advised of a theft. The case is currently under investigation.

10 a.m. ? Michael Austin, 32, of Solon was cited for striking an unattended vehicle.

10:36 a.m. ? Officers are investigating an incident involving the destruction of property in the 700 block of South Second Street.

1:45 p.m. ? Fairfield Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store advised that two male subjects walked in and stole energy drinks and left through the front door.

3:10 p.m. ? A citizen advised of a theft at Pence Elementary School.

3:57 p.m. ? A citizen advised of the theft of a front license plate.

4:09 p.m. ? Roosevelt Community Recreation Center advised of a theft. Case is under investigation.

11:06 p.m. ? A citizen advised of a burglary in the 2000 block of Libertyville Road.
