The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:
Tuesday
8:18 a.m. ? A citizen advised of a theft occurring sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and the time of the call at the Landmark Inn on Main Street. Various tools were taken from an unlocked room that was being worked on. Officers have no suspects or leads at this time.

The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:
Tuesday
8:18 a.m. ? A citizen advised of a theft occurring sometime between 5 p.m. Monday and the time of the call at the Landmark Inn on Main Street. Various tools were taken from an unlocked room that was being worked on. Officers have no suspects or leads at this time.
9:41 a.m. ? A subject advised that a 2-year-old child was out playing, with no parents around. Officer went to the area, but did not locate anyone.
1:34 p.m. ? A citizen advised of a theft.
3:43 p.m. ? A no-injury accident occurred in the Fairfield High School parking lot. Allison Mildred Krumboltz was following behind Reena Chowdhary Nayak, 45, when Nayak came to a stop and Krumboltz rear-ended her. Krumboltz told officers that the brakes were bad in her vehicle. Damages are estimated at less than $1,500.
3:50 p.m. ? A citizen advised that he is selling an air compressor on Craigslist for $200. A subject named Chris Justine contacted him, and sent him a check for $2,000. The subject told the citizen to cash the check and send the remainder of the money back to him along with the air compressor. The citizen called the bank that the check was from, and discovered that an account did not exist.
8 p.m. ? Timothy Haney, 58, was arrested on warrants for operating while intoxicated-first offense, for driving under suspension and for failure to maintain control.
11:41 p.m. ? A citizen advised that a subject was live feeding on Facebook and he said he planned to vandalize and damage property at Fairfield High School. Officers located the subject who was with other subjects. The officer advised them that someone had called in about the Facebook feed, and that since they were not students, they would be arrested if they returned to the property.
