The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

Monday

8:52 a.m. ? Thomas Ridgley of My Lucky Day advised that someone attempted to steal a leather couch that was chained up outside the store. Although the subject was not able to take the sofa, Ridgley wanted to put a notice in the paper about the incident.

10:22 a.m. ? Joseph Blind Jr., 45, was cited for failure to transfer title.

10:51 a.m. ? A caller advised that someone stole her jewelry, clothing and loose jewels.

1:14 p.m. ­? Lane Cox, 18, was cited for no seatbelt.

4:50 p.m. ? A citizen advised that he located a stolen bicycle chained up on a female subject?s porch. Officers spoke with the subject who claimed the bicycle had been left outside all night and so she put it on her porch. She said she contacted her landlord to allow him to get his bicycle.

8:48 p.m. ? A citizen advised that she lost her black Maltipoo wearing a blue collar. She advised it was OK to give out her telephone number: 641-233-0033.

8:48 p.m. ? Justin Brown was arrested for violating probation.

Tuesday

6:00 a.m. ­­? Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad advised the Fourth Street railroad crossing would be closed for two to three weeks.

6:58 a.m. ? Grant Gillam, 37, was cited for speeding.

9:58 p.m. ? Colin Burpee, 40, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control devise.

1:59 p.m. ? Alena Roberts, 41, was arrested and charged with driving while barred.

1:49 p.m. ? A citizen advised of a vandalized mailbox.

4:51 p.m. ? Ashley Schuchman, 27, was cited for expired registration.
