Police: Gunshots reported at Iowa State University
AMES (AP) ? Authorities say gunshots were fired on the Iowa State University campus in Ames as police were chasing a vehicle.
Iowa State University police announced in their official Twitter feed that the gunshots occurred this morning on central campus as part of a chase by Ames police. A suspect is in custody.
Police say there is no threat to the community but people should avoid the area.
