Police investigate two-vehicle mishap
Mt. Pleasant police officers were summoned to the parking lot south of Family Medicine on March 7, to investigate a two-vehicle accident.
According to the accident report, a 2004 Ford Expedition, owned and operated by Kaitlin Denning, of New London, was pulling out of a parking stall and turning north. Denning turned too sharply and stuck a parked car on the front driver side bumper area.

Mt. Pleasant police officers were summoned to the parking lot south of Family Medicine on March 7, to investigate a two-vehicle accident.
According to the accident report, a 2004 Ford Expedition, owned and operated by Kaitlin Denning, of New London, was pulling out of a parking stall and turning north. Denning turned too sharply and stuck a parked car on the front driver side bumper area.
The parked car was a 1995 Mercury Cougar, owned by Pauline Thornton, of Mt. Pleasant. The car was legally parked with no driver.
Damage to the Expedition was listed at $300 while the Mercury sustained $1,500 in damage. There were no injuries and no citations issued.
