Arrests

Oct. 17 – 1:22 p.m., Diane Birchfield, 60, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 600 block of W. Depot Ave. in Fairfield for assault-simple.

Oct. 17 – 10:14 a.m., Joshua McBride, 33, of Crawfordsville, was arrested in the 300 block of 2nd Ave. SW in Cedar Rapids on a warrant for theft 3rd degree.

Oct. 17 – 11:11 p.m., Lekia McQuitty, 28, of Eddyville, was arrested at Hy Vee in Fairfield and was charged with contempt of court, violation of restraining order.

Oct. 18 – 12:27 a.m., Jason Stoneking, 38, of Sigourney was arrested in the 12600 block of County Rd. G56, Wapello on a warrant for controlled substance violation.

Traffic Accidents

Oct. 17 – 4:58 p.m., traffic accident was reported at 6th and Washington, Fairfield.

Oct. 17 – 5:28 p.m., traffic accident was reported at Fillmore and Main, Fairfield.

Oct. 17 – 8:13 a.m., motor vehicle accident with damage was reported at Courtland St. and Goodyear Rd., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 17 – 2:48 p.m., traffic accident was reported in the 2600 block of 240th St., Washington.

Harassment

Oct. 17 – 3:12 p.m., harassment was reported at 17th and Jefferson, Fairfield.

Oct. 17 – 5:53 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 1000 block of S. Iowa Ave., Washington.

Oct. 17 – 6:55 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 300 block of S. Farmer St., Brighton.

Runaway/Missing Person

Oct. 17 – 10:11 p.m., missing person was reported at Pizza Ranch in Fairfield.

Oct. 17 –12:39 p.m., runaways/missing person was reported in the 400 block of W. 3rd St., Washington.

Theft

Oct. 18 – 3:25 a.m., larceny/theft was reported in the 1500 block of Dogwood Dr., Fairfield.

Oct. 17 – 12:54 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 400 block of W. Monroe St., Mt. Pleasant.

Drugs

Oct. 17 – 4:14 p.m., Shad Null, 26, of Brighton, was arrested in the 2900 block of Hwy. 1, Washington, and charge with OWI 1st offense, possession controlled substance methamphetamine, possession controlled substance marijuana and possession drug paraphernalia.

Sexual Assault

Oct. 17 – 4:22 p.m., sex offenses was reported in the 2200 block of 220th Ave., Mt. Union.

DUIs

Oct. 17 – 4:54 p.m. public intoxicate was reported in the 1400 block of E. 2nd St., Washington.

Other

Oct. 17 – 4:51 p.m., suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of Hillside Dr., Fairfield.

Oct. 17 – 2:44 a.m., suspicious person/activity was reported at the Old Mt. Union School.

Oct. 17 – 7:32 a.m., violation of a court order was reported in the 100 block of N. Main St., Mt. Pleasant.
