A deputy reported being out with a subject wanted out of Linn County, Thursday afternoon at West Columbus Street in Crawfordsville. Joshua Alexander McBride, 32, of Crawfordsville, was arrested on a Linn County warrant for revocation of pretrial release on original charges two counts of sexual abuse third, and dissemination exhibition of obscene materials to minors. Bond was $5,000 cash only. An officer transported the subject to the county jail. Extradition arrangements will be made with Linn County.
Wapello County reported being out with a subject wanted out of Washington County. Danielle Marie Hyde, 38, of Ottumwa, was arrested on a Washington County warrant for failure to appear for trial on original charge of driving while license denied, suspended, canceled or revoked. Bond was $300 cash only. An officer transported the subject to the Washington County Jail. An officer served the warrant, and it was cleared from the system.
A caller Thursday night at West Madison Street in Washington reported that a male and a female were arguing at Walmart and left westbound. The caller provide the license plate number. The vehicle was all over the road. An officer located the vehicle at Mother Hubbard's Cupboard. Three additional officers responded. Adam Shane Austin, 33, of Brighton, was arrested on a Van Buren County warrant for failure to appear at pretrial conference on original charge of possession of marijuana. Bond was $1,000 cash only. An officer advised that the dispute between the two parties was verbal only. Extradition arrangements will be made with Van Buren County.
An officer reported being out checking on a wanted subject from Henry County, Thursday night at North Fifth Avenue in Washington. Nikita Renee Jones, 25, of Washington, was arrested on a Henry county warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference on original charge of driving under suspension. Bond was $750 cash only. The subject was transported to the Washington County Jail, where Henry County picked her up.
A caller Thursday night at North Marion Avenue in Washington reported being in a fight with his roommate. City units responded. Gardelino Montanez, 53, of Washington, was arrested on a Louisa County warrant for failure to appear for pretrial on driving under suspension. Bond was $500 cash only. Louisa County responded to the Washington County Jail and picked up the subject. An officer will forward information to the county attorney for possible charges.
Traffic accident
A deputy reported being in pursuit of a vehicle that wrecked on Johnson Washington Road west of Maple Avenue, on Thursday night. The officer was unable to locate the occupants at that time. Washington County officers, Johnson County deputies, and Iowa State Patrol officers responded. Kalona QRSD, Kalona Fire and an ambulance were also en route but were disregarded by an officer. Moore's responded and towed the vehicle. A report will be filed.
A caller Thursday night at North Eighth Avenue in Washington reported that her aunt's boyfriend sideswiped her vehicle and left the scene in a blue van. An officer responded and spoke with the caller. The officer made contact with the subject at his residence in Brighton. The accident occurred on private property. Information was exchanged between the caller and the subject. The vehicle operator was Dagger Erdman, of Brighton, and the other vehicle was a parked vehicle.
Traffic other
A caller Thursday afternoon at Quince Avenue in Washington reported that their wife's vehicle was stuck on a dirt road. An officer spoke to all parties involved, and the vehicle was towed.
Disabled vehicles
A caller Thursday afternoon at North Railroad Street in Ainsworth reported a disabled vehicle. An officer made contact with the registered owner, who was in the process of selling the vehicle. The vehicle had been moved.
A caller Thursday night at 275th Street in Washington reported a vehicle stuck on the roadway. An officer responded and tried to contact the registered owner. The vehicle was added to the system.
Fire calls
A caller Thursday night at 220th Street and Highway 1 in Washington reported a small fire alongside the road on G36 east of Highway 1. The caller requested that someone check on it. The owner of the field was attempting to burn the ditch. An officer put it out.
Civil standby
A caller Thursday night at First Street in Wellman requested a civil standby to pick up items from a residence. Two officers responded, and the subject picked up the items.

A caller Wednesday afternoon at 305th Street in Washington requested documentation of an incident at Sockum Ridge Park. Charles Alvin Geertz, of Muscatine, was cited for prohibited destructive acts.
A caller Thursday afternoon at North Second Avenue in Washington reported witnessing their sister assault their mother while on a video chat. The caller requested a welfare check. Two officers responded. An officer transported one juvenile to Four Oaks in Iowa City.
Family offense nonviolent
A caller Wednesday afternoon at North Second Avenue in Washington reported a domestic situation. It was unknown whether it was physical. Four officers responded. Everything was fine.

A child was reportedly playing with a 911 cellphone, Wednesday morning at North Fifth Avenue in Washington. An officer responded and spoke to an adult at the residence.

Intimidation/harassment
A caller Thursday afternoon at 285th Street in Washington requested to speak with a deputy in reference to a previous harassment. An officer spoke to the subject and advised her to speak to her attorney.
A caller Thursday night at Highway 92 in Keota reported that a subject from Washington was harassing him and his girlfriend. He had called 17 times in the past hour. The caller requested that someone speak with the subject. An officer spoke with the suspect and advised him to stop calling.
A caller Thursday night at South Avenue B in Washington reported being harassed over social media. An officer responded and spoke with all parties involved. Documentation was made.
Suspicious activity
A caller early Friday morning at East Washington Street in Brighton reported suspicious activity outside, with a subject putting belongings in a van. An officer responded. The vehicle was parked with no one around.
Vandalism
A caller Thursday afternoon at West Jefferson Street in Washington reported a juvenile kicking their vehicle. An officer responded and was unable to locate the juvenile. The information was documented.
All other offenses
A caller Thursday afternoon at East Van Buren Street in Washington reported an abandoned bicycle. It had been in the bike rack for two weeks. It was a child's black and blue bike. An officer took the bike to the bike shed.
A caller Thursday afternoon at North Iowa Avenue in Washington reported a 12-year-old who was out of control. Two officers responded. The incident was documented.
Runaways/missing person
A caller Wednesday afternoon at South Ninth Avenue and East Washington Street in Washington reported that her 12-year-old daughter ran away. The caller was following in the car while she was walking. The juvenile was refusing to get into the car. Two officers responded. An officer transported the juvenile to Four Oaks in Iowa City.
Welfare check
A caller Wednesday morning at Monroe Street in Ainsworth reported a welfare check on a subject who appeared to have been assaulted. An officer responded and spoke to the female, who advised she had nothing to report. The female was advised of the eviction process and how to obtain a no-contact order.
A caller Wednesday afternoon at South Sixth Street in Kalona requested a welfare check. No one was home.
All other theft
A caller Wednesday afternoon at Highway 22 in Riverside reported theft of Social Security money. An officer spoke to all parties involved. There was no theft. Money was used for rent and utilities.
A caller Wednesday night at 335th Street in Brighton reported two vehicles coming onto the property and taking items. Two officers responded and spoke to the subject. Documentation was made.
All other offenses
A caller Wednesday afternoon at Hemlock Avenue in Wellman reported they were receiving magazine subscriptions in other people's names. An officer spoke with the caller. The caller had not been charged for the magazines. They were going to contact the post office and the magazine companies. Documentation was made.
A caller Wednesday afternoon at East Main Street in Washington reported a small bicycle sitting outside of his residence. An officer responded, and the bike was taken to the city bike shed.
An officer reported being out with two subjects, Wednesday night at East Jefferson Street in Washington. One subject was counseled about his driving.
