Arrests

Dec. 24 – 1:03 p.m., warrant arrest was reported in the 1200 block of W. Grimes, Fairfield. Gary Shelton, 55, of Ottumwa, was arrested on a warrant for violation of probation on original charge possession of marijuana 3rd offense.

Dec. 25 – 11:24 p.m., warrant arrest was reported in the 4500 block of Melrose Ave., Iowa City. Daniel Alvarado Zorola, 49, of North Liberty, was arrested on a warrant for theft 2nd degree and burglary 3rd degree.

Traffic Accidents

Dec. 24 – 5:38 p.m., motor vehicle accident was reported at E. Baker St. and N. Grand Ave., Mt. Pleasant.

Dec. 25 – 6:42 p.m., motor vehicle accident with property damage was reported at S. Grand Ave. and E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant.

Dec. 24 – 8:49 a.m., traffic accident was reported in the 2100 block of 540th St. SW, Kalona.

Dec. 24 – 12:14 p.m., traffic accident was reported in the 900 block of W. Madison St., Washington.

Harassment

Dec. 24 – 2:18 p.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 100 block of Care Cir., New London.

Dec. 25 – 11:32 a.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 1300 block of Franklin Ave., Wayland.

Runaway/Missing Person

Dec. 25 – 1:50 a.m., runaways/missing person was reported in the 2400 block of Hwy. 22, Kalona.

Fire

Dec. 24 – 8:20 a.m., fire alarm was reported in the 200 block of S. Olive St., Winfield.

Dec. 24 – 2:43 p.m., field/timber/grass fire was reported in the 2100 block of Hwy. 218, Mt. Pleasant.

Assaults

Dec. 25 – 9:03 p.m., domestic disturbance was reported in the 1800 block of Cockleburr Ln., Mt. Pleasant.

Dec. 25 – 7:39 a.m., assault was reported in the 100 block of N. Harrison St., Brighton. Earl Hoback, 39, of Brighton, was arrested for domestic abuse assault impeding air/blood flow causing injure, disorderly conduct and interference with official acts.

Dec. 25 – 9:48 p.m., assault was reported in the 300 block of W. Main St., Washington.

Theft

Dec. 24 – 11:32 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 100 block S. Maple St., Salem.

Dec. 25 – 9:09 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 2100 block of E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant.

Dec. 24 – 8:44 a.m., theft was reported in the 1700 block of E. Washington St., Washington.

Dec. 24 – 12:55 p.m., theft was reported in the 100 block of N. Washburn St., Riverside.

Burglary

Dec. 25 – 9:53 p.m., burglary was reported in the 3300 block of 190th St., Columbus Junction.
