Arrests

July 26 - 3:31 p.m., Jennifer Coberley, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested at Mapleleaf Drive and Harvey Road and charged with operating while intoxicated-third offense and cited for open containers.

Aug. 2 - 9:43 p.m., Bryan Carr, of Mt. Pleasant, was charged in the 1000 grid of US Highway 78 with operating while under the influence-second offense.

Aug. 4 - 5:21 a.m., Todd Jacob Riley, 25, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested at US Highway 218 near 185th Street and charged with operating while under the influence-first offense, open container, failing to maintain control and using an electronic communication device.

Aug. 5 - 7:12 p.m., Joshua Alexander McBride, 33, of the 200 block of West Columbus Street, Crawfordsville, was arrested at his home on a warrant for revocation of pretrial release on charges of two counts sexual abuse-third degree, and dissemination/exhibition of obscene materials to minors.

Aug. 5 - 5:33 p.m., Valarie Michelle Halsey, 52, of Burlington, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and on a warrant for failing to appear.

Assaults

Aug. 5 - 6:22 p.m., 600 block of South Third Street, Fairfield.

Burglary

Aug. 4 - 6:55 p.m., a burglary was reported in at Quality Equipment Inc. in Mt. Pleasant.

Harassment

Aug. 5 - 3:07 p.m., harassment was reported in the 200 block of East Commercial Street, Hillsboro.

Aug. 5 - 3:38 p.m., harassment was reported in the 1200 block of 120th Street, Wayland.

Aug. 5 - 5:35 p.m., harassment was reported in the 100 block of North Adams Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Drugs

Aug. 5 - 6:34 p.m., narcotic violation was reported in the 100 block of East Clay Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Citations

Aug. 5 - 11:42 a.m., Clae Allan Lloyd, 19, of 1400 block of North Fourth Avenue, Washington, was cited for driving under suspension in the 1400 block of North Fourth in Washington.

Traffic accidents

Aug 5 - 11:59 a.m., a vehicle struck a deer in the 3100 block of Wayland Road, Wayland.

Fire

Aug. 3 - 10:10 p.m., a fire in the 100 block of Main Street in Hillsboro was extinguished. The fire is believed to be intentional and resulted in property damage. Investigation is ongoing.

Aug. 5 - 7:34 p.m., a smoke alarm sounded at Kalona Middle School. There was no fire.

Aug. 5 - 10:54 p.m., a trash fire set a tree on fire in the 1100 block of Redwood Avenue in Riverside.

Aug. 5 - 9:37 p.m., a burn complaint was reported in the 500 block of East Warren Street, Mt. Pleasant.
