Oct. 21 – 8:37 a.m., warrant serv. /court order hold was reported in the 2000 block of E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 21 – 7:02 p.m., warrant serv. /court order hold was reported in the 900 block of E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 22 – 12:18 p.m., warrant serv. /court order hold was reported in the 100 block of N. State St., Hillsboro.

Traffic Accidents

Oct. 19 – 1:57 a.m., single vehicle accident involving a deer in the 2800 grid of Hwy. 218, Mt. Pleasant. Patricia Schaefer, of Morning Sun, reported that two deer crossed in front of her and she didn't have enough time to brake and avoid the collision.

Oct. 21 – 7:42 a.m., motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported in the 2900 block of Hwy. 218, Salem.

Oct. 21 – 3:37 p.m., motor vehicle accident with damage was reported in the 100 block of W. Main St., New London.

Oct. 22 – 10:57 a.m., hit and run was reported in the 600 block of S. Walnut St., New London.

Oct. 22 – 4:24 p.m., hit and run was reported in the 1000 block of N. Grand Ave., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 22 – 8:56 p.m., hit and run was reported in the 200 block of E. Monroe St., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 22 – 3:07 p.m., traffic accident was reported in the 800 block of S. Iowa Ave., Washington.

Oct. 22 – 5:02 p.m., traffic accident was reported at E. Ave. and 3rd St., Kalona. There was no injuries reported and one of the drivers was cited for failure to maintain control.

Harassment

Oct. 22 – 9:46 p.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 800 block of N. Palm Ave., Mt. Pleasant.

Runaway/Missing Person

Oct. 20 – 10:40 p.m., missing/runaway was reported in the 900 block of S. Iris St., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 21 – 12:46 p.m., attempt to locate was reported in the 2300 block of Appanoose Cir., Mt. Pleasant.

Fire

Oct. 20 – 12:10 p.m., fire alarm was reported in the 400 block of N. Broadway St., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 20 – 12:42 p.m., burn complaint was reported in the 600 block of N. Collins Cir., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 20 – 2:23 p.m., controlled burn was reported in the 1900 block of Salem Rd., Salem.

Oct. 21 – 1:21 p.m., field/timber/grass fire was reported in the 2100 block of 105th St., Winfield.

Oct. 22 – 3:48 a.m., general fire call was reported in the 200 block of N. Elm St., New London.

Oct. 22 – 9:34 a.m., controlled burn was reported in the 1500 block of E. Mapleleaf Dr., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 22 – 5:43 p.m., structure fire was reported in the 400 block of E. Main St., New London.

Oct. 22 – 8:46 p.m., controlled burn was reported at 200th St. and Dakota Ave., Mt. Pleasant.

Assaults

Oct. 21 – 7:14 p.m., assault was reported in the 200 block of W. Front St., Wayland.

Oct. 22 – 2:03 p.m., assault was reported in the 3100 block of Hwy. 1, Brighton. Brian Johnson, 49, of Brighton was arrested and charged with domestic abuse 3rd and subsequent and harassment 1st.

Theft

Oct. 20 – 3:34 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 200 block of S. Main St., Salem.

Oct. 21 – 11:43 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1200 block of E. Monroe St., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 21 – 11:44 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1000 block of N. Grand Ave., Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 22 – 11:46 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the Henry County Area.

Oct. 22 – 6:33 p.m., stolen/recovered bicycle was reported in the 100 block of E. 2nd St., Washington.
