Arrest

Sept. 13 - 4:25 p.m., Ronald Lee Miller, 61, of the 800 block of East Madison Avenue, Fairfield, was arrested in the 800 block of East Madison Avenue, Fairfield, and charged with domestic abuse assault.

Sept. 13 - 6:21 p.m., Jeffrey Allen Barnett, 45, of the 900 block of North 10th Street, Fairfield, was arrested in the 1200 block of West Grimes Avenue, Fairfield, and charged with domestic abuse assault.

Sept. 14 - 1:29 a.m., Travis Eugene Smith, 39, of the 100 block of East Park Avenue, Keota, was arrested in the 1200 block of 160th Street, Wellman, and charged with OWI (first offense).

Sept. 14 - 10:44 a.m., Jeffrey Jay Smith, 52, of the 300 block of Third Street, Wellman, was arrested in the 300 block of Third Street, Wellman, on a Keokuk County warrant.

Sept. 14, Cory Lyn Munn, 40, of the 2800 block of 13th Street, Riverside, was arrested in the 3100 block of Highway 22, Riverside, for public intoxication.

Sept. 14 - 9:49 p.m., Lucas Anthony Ray, 26, of the 2300 block of 540th Street SW, Kalona, was arrested at First Street and E Avenue, Kalona, for driving while license revoked, operating a non-registered vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept 15, 1:51 p.m., Nichalous Dwayne Luke, 35, of the 500 block of South C Avenue, Washington, was arrested on a Washington County warrant in the 500 block of South C Avenue, Washington.

Citation

Sept. 15 - 4:37 p.m., a municipal infraction citation for speed was issued at Sixth Street and Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Traffic accident

Sept. 13 - 10:02 a.m., an accident was reported in the 1100 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 13 - 5:58 p.m., a traffic accident was reported at Fourth Street and Grimes Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 13 - 7:14 a.m., a vehicle vs. deer accident was reported in the 2300 block of 220th Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 13 - 12:11 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 200 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 13 - 12:24 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at West Henry Street and North White Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 13 - 3:38 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 900 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 13 - 4:37 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 1700 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 13 - 5 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with unknown injuries, was reported at South Grand Avenue and East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 13 - 11:27 p.m., a motor vehicle vs. animal accident was reported in the 2800 block of Franklin Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 14 - 3:38 p.m., a car vs. deer accident was reported in the 1000 block of Highway 92, Keota.

Sept. 15 - 10:49 a.m., a vehicle hit a parked semi truck parked in the 1100 block of West Buchanan Street, Washington.

Harassment

Sept. 13 - 5:32 p.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 100 block of South Monroe Street, Salem.

Sept. 13 - 5:48 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 200 block of A Avenue, Kalona.

Sept. 14 - 8:20 p.m., harassment was reported in the 400 block of East Lowe Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 15 - 12:52 p.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 1500 block of South Spruce Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 15 - 8:16 a.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 3000 block of Highway 22, Riverside.

Sept. 15 - 4:56 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 100 block of Crawfordsville.

Assault

Sept. 13 - 6:37 p.m., assault on a school bus was reported to Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Sept. 15 - 9 p.m., assault was reported in the 200 block of Washington Street, Ainsworth.

Sept. 15, 2:39 a.m., assault was reported in the 700 block of South C Avenue, Washington.

Theft

Sept. 14 - 11:39 a.m., theft was reported in the 800 block of North Marion Avenue.

Sept. 14 - 5:42 p.m., a gas drive off was reported in the 1500 block of East Washington Street, Washington.

Sept. 15 - 11:51 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1100 block of North Grand Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Drugs

Sept. 13 - 10:26 p.m., drug/narcotic violation was reported in the 2500 block of 305th Street, Washington.

Sept. 14 - 1:56 p.m., drug/narcotic violation was reported in the 1100 block of E Place, Kalona.

Sept. 15 - 7:36 p.m., drug/narcotic violation was reported in the 800 block of West Monroe Street, Washington.

Fire

Sept. 13 - 2:29 p.m., a controlled burn was reported in the 3100 block of New London Road, New London.

Sept. 13 - 5:13 p.m., gas was leaking from a vehicle with a hole in the tank at East Adams Street and South 15th Avenue, Washington. The gas was cleaned up.

Sept. 13 - 7:20 p.m., a fire alarm sounded in the 200 block of West Pearl Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 14 - 7 p.m., a large fire was reported in the 300 block of East Seventh Street, Washington. The subject was advised not to use gas for his fire.

Sept. 14 - 8:53 p.m., a smoke alarm was sounding in the 1200 block of South Iowa Avenue, Washington. There was no fire.

Sept. 14 - 10:06 p.m., a firework caused a tree to catch fire in the 1700 block of Highway 78, Brighton. Brighton Fire Department responded.

Sept. 15 - 9:43 a.m., 30 gallons of gas was spilling out of a skid loader and going into the sewer drain in the 700 block of Sixth Street, Wellman.
