Arrests
Aug. 28 - 6:52 a.m., William Franklin Salyers, 38, of the 500 block of North Second Avenue, Washington, was arrested in the 200 block of East Fifth Street, Washington, and charged with public intoxication (first offense).
Aug. 28 - 3:31 p.m., Kevin Dean Hudnut, 48, of the 2000 block of 520th Avenue, Deep River, was arrested on a warrant.
Aug. 28 - 4:05 p.m., Tony David Unternahrer, 26, of the 4300 block of Brady Street, Davenport, was arrested on a warrant in Cedar Rapids.
Aug 29 -- 2:31 a.m., Brandon James Adams, 30, of Keokuk, was arrested in the 1800 grid of Franklin Avenue south of Trenton and charged with operating while under the influence (second offense).
Burglary
Aug. 27 - 6:51 a.m., a vehicle was gone through and one bag of belongings was taken in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Washington.
Aug. 27 - 8:36 a.m., a storage unit was broken into in the 900 block of West Fifth Street, Washington.
Aug. 27 - 2:37 p.m., a shop was broken into in the 1200 block of Jefferson Washington Road, Brighton. Two guns and tools were taken.
Aug. 27 - 6:03 p.m., a trailer was broken into and vandalized in the 100 block of North Taylor Street, Brighton.
Aug. 28 - 5:27 a.m., vehicles were gone through in the 600 block of Monroe Street, Ainsworth.
Aug. 28 - 7:04 a.m., several vehicles were reported broken into and rummaged through: one in the 700 block of Pine Drive, two in the 600 block of Pine Drive, one in the 700 block of North Railroad, one in the 500 block of Lincoln Street, one in the 700 block of Lincoln Street, and one in the 200 block of Second Street.
Aug. 28 - 3:27 a.m., burglary was reported in the 600 block of East Henry Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 12:20 p.m., burglary was reported in the 400 block of West Broadway Avenue, Fairfield.
Aug. 29 - 3:24 a.m., a home was broken into and items were taken in the 400 block of Old Military Road, Ainsworth.
Theft
Aug. 28 - 8:43 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 500 block of East Henry Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 6:12 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 500 block of East Henry Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 9:37 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 300 block of North Van Buren Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 7:54 a.m., theft was investigated in the 300 block of East Briggs Avenue, Fairfield.
Aug. 28 - 10:12 a.m., theft was investigated in the 600 block of South Sixth Street, Fairfield.
Aug. 28 - 5:37 p.m., theft was investigated in the 200 block of North Fourth Street, Fairfield.
Aug. 29 - 12:17 a.m., larceny theft was reported in the 800 block of South Ninth Street, Fairfield.
Vehicle accident
Aug. 27 - 7:59 a.m., a two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported in the 1200 block of 120th Street, Wellman.
Aug. 28 - 4:58 p.m., a two-vehicle accident with unknown injuries was reported in the 100 block of West H Avenue, Kalona. Ainsley Brenneman of Parnell was charged with failure to maintain control.
Aug. 28 - 3:46 a.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported in the 1700 block of Highway 34, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 2:31 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 400 block of East Thresher Road, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 3:17 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 300 block of North Iris Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 3:35 p.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported at Nebraska Avenue and Salem Road, New London.
Aug. 28 - 5:11 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at East Harvest Drive and Iowa Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 7:19 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at South Walnut Street and East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.
Aug. 28 - 11:59 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with unknown injuries, was reported in the 4000 block of Sycamore Drive, Westwood.

Aug. 28 - 10:16 a.m., charges are pending for unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possession of controlled substance in the 700 block of North Iowa Avenue, Washington.

Aug. 27 - 7:20 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported at the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Aug. 28 - 8:20 p.m., harassment/threats were reported in the 100 block of East Commercial Street, Hillsboro.
Aug. 28 - 10:20 a.m., phone harassment was reported in the 400 block of East Lowe Avenue.
Aug. 28 - 2:49 p.m., harassment was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe Avenue, Fairfield.
Aug. 29 - 1:18 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 300 block of South Fourth Street, Washington.
Assault
Aug. 28 - 9:45 p.m., assault was investigated in the 500 block of North C Street, Fairfield.

Aug. 28 - 11:49 p.m., Fairfield and Washington police spoke about a missing person.
Aug. 29 - 12:04 a.m., Fairfield and Ottumwa police spoke about a missing person.
Fire
Aug. 27 - 9:42 p.m., fire alarms sounded in the 600 block of West Tyler, Washington. No fire was detected.
Aug. 28 - 12:46 a.m., smoke detectors sounded in the 1400 block of Ridgeview Court, Washington.
Aug. 28 - 10:14 a.m., a controlled burn was reported in the 2200 block of Benton Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.
