Arrest

Sept. 13 - 7:20 p.m., Nathan McElwee, 37, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested in the 1300 grid of Old Highway 34 and charged with operating while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 18 - 1:41 a.m., Brandon Scott Hart, 21, of Salem, was arrested near 235th Street and Blackhawk Lane in Henry County and charged with operating while under the influence (first offense). He also was given a citation for having an open container.

Sept. 18 - 12:47 p.m., Bret Alan Rowland, 52, of the 100 block of South Jefferson Street, Brighton, was arrested in the 100 block of South Jefferson Street, Brighton, on a warrant.

Sept. 18 - 4:45 p.m., Jared Clay Culver, 28, of the 3600 block of P Avenue, Tama, was arrested in the 20 block of North Center Street, Marshalltown, on a warrant.

Sept. 19 - 1:36 a.m., an arrest on a warrant was made in the 2700 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 19 - 4:02 a.m., an arrest on a warrant was made in the 2700 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Traffic accident

Sept. 18 - 9:42 a.m., a traffic accident was reported at Main Street and Adams Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 18 - 3:20 p.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 600 block of East Broadway Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 18 - 7:09 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at South Jefferson and West Washington streets, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 18 - 3:34 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at South Jefferson and West Washington streets, in Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 18 - 5 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 800 block of South Adams Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Citations

Sept. 18 - 3:54 p.m., a municipal infractions citation for a traffic violation was issued in the 100 block of East Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 18 - 4:22 p.m., a municipal infractions citation for a traffic violation was issued at Madison Avenue and 32nd Street, Fairfield.

Sept. 18 - 4:49 p.m., a municipal infractions citation for a speeding was issued at 32nd Street and Madison Avenue, Fairfield.

Assault

Sept. 18 - 9:36 p.m., assault was reported in the 100 block of East Broadway Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 18 - 9:50 a.m., assault was reported in the 900 block of South Iris Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 18 - 3:33 p.m., assault was reported in the 600 block of South Fourth Avenue, Washington.

Burglary

Sept. 18 - 4:47 p.m., burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 200 block of East Main Street, Washington.

Theft

Sept. 18 - 8:49 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 100 block of South Main Street, Olds.

Harassment

Sept. 18, 12:18 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 1700 block of East Washington Street, Washington.

Sept. 18 - 3:59 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 600 block of North C Avenue, Washington.

Fire

Sept. 18 - 12:32 p.m., a vehicle/equipment fire was reported in the 200 block of North Jefferson Street, Mt. Pleasant.
