Arrest

Aug. 22 - 4:11 p.m., Jody Allan Morgan, 44, of the 400 block of South East Street, Sigourney, was arrested in the 200 block of South Stone, Sigourney, on a warrant.

Aug. 22 - 6:08 p.m., Hugo Banuelos, 36, of the 1100 block of North Third Street, Washington, was arrested in the 2400 block of Hemlock Avenue, Washington, and charged with driving under revocation, speed and no insurance.

Aug. 22 - 6:08 p.m., Victor Banuelos-Orona, 32, of the 40 block of Parkside Estates Road, Washington, was arrested in the 2400 block of Hemlock Avenue, Washington, on a warrant.

Aug. 22 - 10:25 a.m., Diane Marie Birchfield, 60, of the 400 block of North F Street, Fairfield, was arrested at Fourth and Broadway, Fairfield, and charged with operating a vehicle without owner's consent, fifth-degree theft, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vehicle accident

Aug. 22 - 10:43 a.m., motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 300 block of West Front Street, Wayland.

Aug. 22 - 4:27 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 1000 block of North Grand Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Aug. 22 - 5:38 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at Benton Avenue and Highway 34, Mt. Pleasant.

Aug. 22 - 11:58 a.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 200 block of West Briggs Avenue, Fairfield.

Theft

Aug. 22 - 8:25 a.m., a missing car was reported in the 3100 block of 190th Street, Ainsworth.

Aug. 22 - 1:43 p.m., a safe was stolen in the 700 block of North Second Avenue, Washington.

Aug. 22 - 7:39 p.m., a cellphone was stolen in the 700 block of F Avenue, Kalona.

Aug. 22 - 6:55 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1000 block of East Linden Drive, Mt. Pleasant.

Aug. 23 - 12:11 a.m., shoplifting was reported in the 2400 block of Highway 92, Washington. Morgan Olivia Kohl, 18, of the 300 block of Wroble Drive, Marion, was cited into court for fifth-degree theft. Charges also will be filed on one juvenile for fifth-degree theft.

Aug. 23 - 2:16 a.m., shoplifting was reported in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington. Emma Iva Green, 18, of Washington, was cited into court for fifth-degree theft.

Harassment

Aug. 22 - 7:03 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 500 block of East 15th Street, Washington.

Aug. 22 - 11:15 a.m., phone harassment was reported in the 300 block of South 17th Street, Fairfield.

Assault

Aug. 22 - 3:12 p.m., assault was reported in the 2000 block of South Main Street, Fairfield.

Sex offenses

Aug. 22 - 9:53 a.m., sex offenses were reported in Fairfield.

Fire

Aug. 22 - 7:10 p.m., a resident in the 700 block of East Jefferson Street, Washington, was advised of the city's burning restrictions.

Aug. 22 - 1:59 p.m., a structure fire was reported in the 400 block of East Pine Street, Winfield.

Aug. 22 - 2:31 p.m., a field/timber/grass fire was reported in the 2300 block of Highway 34, New London.

Aug. 22 - 4:30 p.m., a vehicle/equipment fire was reported in the 1400 block of Franklin Avenue, Wayland.

Aug. 22 - 8:28 p.m., a possible structure fire was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan Avenue, Fairfield.

Aug. 22 - 1:25 p.m. - unauthorized burning was investigated and code was enforced in the 100 block of South 17th Street, Fairfield.
