Traffic accidents

Oct. 2 - 12:06 p.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 1700 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Oct. 2 - 3:39 p.m., a hit and run was reported in the 400 block of East Madison Avenue, Fairfield.

Oct. 3 - 1:28 p.m., a hit and run was reported in the 600 block of East Broadway Avenue, Fairfield.

Oct. 3 - 9:24 p.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 1900 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield. The subject fell off his bike. He advised he was not hit by a vehicle.

Oct. 3 - 7:43 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 200 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 3 - 11:40 p.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported at 185th Street and Highway 218, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 3 - 12:40 p.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported in the 1100 block of South B Avenue, Washington.

Oct. 4 - 12:53 a.m., a vehicle vs. animal accident was reported at Hickory Avenue and Wapello Drive, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 4-7:03 a.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported at New London Road and South Pine Street, New London.

Oct. 4 - 4:33 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 1400 block of Highway 34, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 4 - 7:21 a.m. - a motor vehicle accident, with injuries, was reported at 560th Street Southwest and Landon Avenue Southwest, Riverside.

Oct. 4 - 11:19 a.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 3100 block of Highway 92, Ainsworth.

Arrests

Oct. 3 - 3:13 p.m., an arrest on a warrant was made in the 400 block of West Kirkwood Avenue, Fairfield.

Oct. 3 - 8:25 a.m., Maurice Jones, 52, of the 200 block of North Marion Avenue, Washington, was arrested in the 200 block of West Main Street, Washington, and charged with disorderly conduct and interference with official acts.

Oct. 3 - 1:09 p.m., Mary Jane Soto, 45, of the 300 block of North C Avenue, Washington, was arrested in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard, Washington, on a warrant.

Theft

Oct. 3 - 7:34 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 100 block of North Main Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 3 - 8:55 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 100 block of South Maple Street, Salem.

Oct. 3 - 6:45 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1000 block of North Grand Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 3 - 1:33 p.m., identity theft through a PayPal account was reported in the 500 block of Fourth Street, Wellman.

Oct. 3 - 7:16 p.m., a bicycle was stolen in the 100 block of West Washington Boulevard, Washington.

Oct. 4 - 8:42 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1500 block of South Linden Plaza, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 4 - 3:22 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 1000 block of North Grand Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Oct. 2 - 4:59 p.m., a citation was issued in the 600 block of West Jackson Avenue, Fairfield, for a traffic violation.

Oct. 4 - 4:08 p.m., assault was reported in the 300 block of West Main Street, New London.

Oct. 4 - 6:08 p.m., Michael Joseph Vogel, 26, of the 2500 block of Holiday Road, Coralville, was arrested in the 1600 block of State Street, Bettendorf, on a Washington County warrant.

Missing people

Oct. 4 - 7:50 p.m., a missing/runaway was reported in the 900 block of South Iris Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Fire

Oct. 2 - 5:21 p.m., a structure fire was reported in the 100 block of East Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Oct. 3 - 10:10 p.m., a controlled burn was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 1 North, Fairfield.

Oct. 4 - 3:24 p.m., a fire alarm sounded in the 2200 block of East Commerce Drive, Mt. Pleasant.
