Arrests

Sept. 3 - 1:39 p.m., Ernest Eugene Hammel, 62, of the 400 block of Iowa Street, Hills, was arrested at Hemlock Avenue and 130th Street, Wellman, and charged with possession of marijuana (first offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 3 - 4:36 p.m., Nathin Daniel Tilton, 26, of the 1000 block of Sixth Avenue, Belle Plaine, was arrested in the 100 block of East Third Street, Vinton, on a warrant.

Sept. 3, 11:42 p.m., Nick Eugene Temple, of the 1000 block of Circle Drive, Wellman, was arrested in the 4500 block of Melrose Avenue, Iowa City, on a warrant.

Sept. 4 - 12:28 a.m., Jason Michael Nichols, 25, of the 400 block of West Main Street, Washington, was arrested in the 400 block of North Third, Burlington, on a warrant.

Sept. 4 - 5:14 a.m., Caitlyn Rene Mayor, 32, in the Henry County Jail, was arrested on a warrant by the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Citation

Sept. 3 - 9 p.m., Levi Dale Mitchell, 23, of the 100 block of South Locust Street, Richland, was cited at B Street and Lowe Avenue, Fairfield, for failure to prove security against liability (accident related).

Burglary

Sept. 3 - 10:45 p.m., burglary was reported in the 100 block of North Taylor Street, Brighton.

Sept. 3 - 1:43 p.m., burglary was reported in the 1300 block of East Monroe Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Theft

Sept. 3 - 10:55 p.m., theft was investigated in the 800 block of West Depot Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 3 - 9:16 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 400 block of North Lee Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 3 - 3:44 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 400 block of South Jackson Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Harassment

Sept. 3 - 7:26 p.m., harassment was reported in the 2000 block of North Court Street, Fairfield.

Sept. 3 - 5:52 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 3100 block of Highway 22, Riverside.

Sept. 3 - 11:04 a.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 900 block of North Grand Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 3 - 4:07 p.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 400 block of East Mapleleaf Drive, Mt. Pleasant.

Assault

Sept. 3 - 8:17 a.m., assault was reported in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue, Washington.

Missing person

Sept. 3 - 10:25 a.m., a runaway/missing person was reported in the 1700 block of 130th Street, Wellman. The person was found.

Sexual assault

Sept. 3 - 3:19 p.m., sexual child abuse was reported to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Sept. 3 - 4:56 p.m., a possible sexual child abuse situation was reported to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Sept. 3 - 5:11 p.m., possible child sexual abuse in Washington was reported to the Washington Police Department.

Sept. 3 - 11:51 a.m., sex offenses were reported in the Mt. Pleasant area.

Fire

Sept. 3 - 6:19 p.m., a fire alarm sounded I the 1000 block of North 12th Avenue, Washington. There was no fire.
