Arrests

Aug. 19 - 11:05 p.m., Stephen Potter, 33, of Lockridge was arrested in the 2000 grid of 170th Street in Henry County and charged with attempted burglary and several traffic violations. Passenger Moranda Ledbetter, 25, of Mt. Pleasant, also was arrested and charged with attempted burglary, possession of a controlled substance and several traffic violations.

Aug. 23 - 11:03 a.m., Colton Lee Gallup, 26, of the 400 block of West Front Street, Wayland, was arrested at Fifth Street and Depot Avenue in Fairfield and charged with driving while barred.

Aug. 23 - 5:09 p.m., Ricardo Rodriguez, 41, of the 900 block of West Hempstead Avenue, Fairfield, was arrested in the alley behind the 800 block of West Burlington and charged with driving while barred.

Aug. 23 - 10:54 a.m., Nkoski Algernon Audain, 31, of the 900 block of Nebraska Street, Muscatine, was arrested in the 200 block of West Main Street, Washington, on a warrant.

Aug. 23, 7:52 p.m., Rollin J. Bontrager, 26, of the 700 block of North Iowa Avenue, Washington, was arrested in the 700 block of North Iowa Avenue, Washington, on a warrant.

Aug. 23 - 10:33 p.m., Vincent James Decicco III of the 300 block of West Columbus Street, Crawfordsville, was arrested at East 11th Street and North Second Avenue, Washington, on a warrant.

Aug. 24 - 3:39 p.m., Casey Jo Claiborne, 37, of the 400 block of High Street, Keokuk, was arrested in the 3100 block of Highway 22, Riverside, on a warrant.

Aug. 24 - 5:55 p.m., Nicholas Dean Craff, 28, of the 600 block of B Avenue, Oskaloosa, was arrested at 13th Street and Eighth Avenue, Wellman, and charged with driving under suspension.

Aug. 25 - 12:26 a.m., Deon Turrell Johnson II, 28, of the 700 block of West Main Street, Washington, was arrested in the 900 block of South C Avenue, Washington, on a warrant.

Aug. 25 - 1:32 a.m., Samuel James Blumer, 48, of the 900 block of East Maple, Centerville, was arrested at North Boise Street and West Frist Street, Riverside, and charged with OWI (first offense).

Aug. 25 - 2:29 a.m., Daniel Orville Einess, 39, of the 1000 block of Redwood Avenue, Brighton, was arrested in the 12000 County Road G56, Wapello, on a warrant.

Aug. 25 - 12:44 a.m., David Roy Beebe, 33, of the 200 block of South Jay Street, Mt. Pleasant, was arrested in the 100 block of East Clay Street, Mt. Pleasant, on a warrant.

Aug. 26 - 12:17 a.m., an arrest was made at the Jefferson County Jail in Fairfield.

Aug. 26 - 1:31 a.m., an arrest was made in the 300 block of West Polk Avenue, Fairfield, on a warrant.

Aug. 25 - 11:06 a.m., Terrance Deshaun Allen, 41, of the 200 block of East Fourth Street, Waterloo, was cited in the 2700 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield, for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.

Traffic accidents

Aug. 23 - 3:14 p.m., a hit and run traffic accident was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road, Fairfield.

Aug. 23 - 3:28 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported in the 1200 block of West Grimes Avenue, Fairfield.

Aug. 23 - 3:40 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 2500 block of Racine Avenue, New London.

Aug. 24 - 8:54 p.m., a vehicle vs. animal traffic accident was reported in the 2300 block of Highway 34, New London.

Aug. 24 - 9:43 p.m., a two-vehicle accident was reported in the 2600 block of Highway 92, Washington. Timothy Howard Penick, 47, of the 100 block of North Fourth Street, West Branch, was arrested and changed with operating while intoxicated (first offense).

Aug. 24 - 11:08 p.m., a two vehicle accident was reported at Highway 1 and Johnston Washington Road, Kalona.

Aug. 25 - 1:14 p.m., a motor vehicle accident, with property damage, was reported in the 1300 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Aug. 23 - 7:48 p.m., a burn complaint was reported in the 1700 block of Oakland Mills Road, Mt. Pleasant.

Aug 25 - 7:30 a.m., an excavator struck a gas line in the 200 block of South 15th Street, Washington. Alliant Energy responded.
