The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:
Thursday
7:51 a.m. - A traffic accident was reported at Eighth and Stone. A passenger car stopped at a stop sign, but failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
8:15 a.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.
9:45 a.m. - Police assisted the city in the 900 block of South Sixth.
10:10 a.m. - Police walked through Washington Elementary School.
10:43 a.m. - A miscellaneous complaint and service call was made in the 2200 block of West Grimes.
11:15 a.m. - Police walked through Pence Elementary School. Everything was OK.
11:24 a.m. - Police walked through Fairfield Middle School. Everything was OK.
11:34 a.m. - Police kept the peace in the 300 block of West Washington.
11:46 a.m. - A two-vehicle, property-damage-only accident was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.
12:47 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 600 block of West Adams.
1:21 p.m. - Police assisted a motorist at Highway 34 and Nutmeg.
3 p.m. - Police investigated theft-shoplifting in the 2700 block of West Burlington.
3:22 p.m. - Police were in the 600 block of East Broadway for a juvenile issue.
4:18 p.m. - A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported in the 600 block of East Broadway.
4:19 p.m. - Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of Glasgow Road. A suspicious male was reported knocking on doors.
5:27 p.m. - Extra patrol was requested in the 800 block of South Third.
5:29 p.m. - A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.
6:21 p.m. - Harassment was reported in the 1300 block of West Burlington.
6:22 p.m. - Police investigated theft in the 500 block of West Grimes.
6:33 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 500 block of East Adams. A resident drove through a neighbor's yard.
7:08 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Sunset and Fillmore for a passenger-side headlight outage.
7:21 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued in the 2100 block of South 32nd for a driver-side headlight outage.
9:13 p.m. - Police provided warrant service in the 800 block of South Second.
9:46 p.m. - Police provided assistance at the Jefferson County Health Center.
10:09 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Second and Burlington for window tint that was too dark.
10:15 p.m. - Larceny theft was reported in the 400 block of North Fourth.
10:33 p.m. - Police checked an unoccupied vehicle at O.B. Nelson Park after hours. Everything was OK.
Friday
1:09 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Stone for no driver-side brake light.
1:11 a.m. - Police investigated drugs-narcotic violations in the 200 block of North 28th.
