The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

6:34 a.m. - Police investigated theft - shoplifting in the 200 block of West Burlington.

7:09 a.m. - Police issued a verbal warning at Broadway and Morgan for a traffic violation.

9:52 a.m. - A funeral escort was requested by Cranston Funeral Home.

10:09 a.m. - An animal issue was reported in the 500 block of North Sixth.

10:46 a.m. - Psychiatric behavior was reported in the 400 block of West Stone.

11:43 a.m. - An animal issue was reported in the 2700 block of West Burlington.

12:20 p.m. - Police investigated disorderly conduct in the 400 block of West Hempstead. At 1:19 p.m., Diane Marie Birchfield, 60, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

12:39 p.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 400 block of North F.

1:06 p.m. - A hazardous road condition was reported in the 1300 block of West Burlington.

1:08 p.m. - Disturbing the peace was reported on Madison Avenue between Second and Third streets.

1:47 p.m. - An animal issue was reported in the 1000 block of North Eighth.

3:20 p.m. - A missing person was reported in the 2200 block of West Burlington.

3:37 p.m. - Police investigated possible arson in the 400 block of North F.

4:25 p.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 200 block of West Washington.

5:36 p.m. - Police investigated theft of a motor vehicle in the 200 block of West Broadway.

8:59 p.m. - A silent business alarm sounded in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

9:10 a.m. - Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of East Buchanan.

9:25 p.m. - An ID and debit card were found in Whitham Woods.

9:29 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Broadway for a headlight outage.

9:40 p.m. - A civil dispute was reported in the 1000 block of West Stone.

10:56 p.m. - Police assisted the Wapello County Sheriff's Office.

11:02 p.m. - Police assisted a motorist in the 800 block of West Burlington.

11:46 p.m. - Police assisted EMS in the 500 block of North Fifth.
