3:46 a.m. - A business alarm sounded in the 500 block of North Fourth.
9:16 a.m. - Police assisted the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
10:07 a.m. - A controlled substance was reported in the 600 block of Highland.
1 p.m. - A burglary was reported in the 100 block of South Court.
1:46 p.m. - Psychiatric behavior was reported in the 900 block of West Hempstead.
2:02 p.m. - Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of Southgate Circle.
3:50 p.m. - Police assisted the Fairfield Fire Department in the 700 block of West Hempstead.
5:54 p.m. - Police investigated narcotic violations, shoplifting and drugs equipment violations in the 2700 block of West Burlington. At 6:04 p.m., Anjie Michelle Lightly, 48, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft, possession of a controlled substance-second offense (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:59 p.m. - A disturbance was reported in the 400 block of North D.
10:55 p.m. - Loud music was reported in the 600 block of North Third.
11:16 p.m. - Psychiatric behavior was reported in the 2000 block of South Main.
11:50 p.m. - Police assisted a motorist at Main and Junction.
Saturday
1:09 a.m. - An arrest was made on a warrant in the 800 block of West Burlington.
1:09 a.m. - Police investigated narcotic violations in the 800 block of West Burlington. At 1:12 a.m., Alexander James Simpson, 22, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)-second offense.
7:25 a.m. - A utilities hazard was reported at Libertyville and Dogwood.
7:34 a.m. - A utilities hazard was reported on Jefferson between Third and Fourth.
8:51 a.m. - Jonah N. Dowell, 23, was issued a municipal infractions citation in the 800 block of West Burlington for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone.
9:20 a.m. - Jefferson Avenue was reported closed between Third and Fourth streets.
11:12 a.m. - Police assisted Wapello County Sheriff's Office.
11:17 a.m. - A parking concern was reported in the 200 block of West Hempstead.

8:11 p.m. - Police investigated a weapon law violation at Key and Libertyville Road. At 8:41 p.m. - Roger Brandon Watsey, 33, of Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with a felon in possession of firearm and carrying weapons.
8:11 p.m. - A K-9 search was requested at Key and Libertyville Road.
8:56 p.m. - Police assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in the 2500 block of Highway 1.
11:44 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

1:18 a.m. -- Police assisted the ambulance in the 2300 block of Walton Road.
1:30 a.m. -- Police investigated assault-simple in the 200 block of East Buchanan. At 2:03 a.m., Randall Rayvon Woodson, Jr., Fairfield, was arrested and charged with domestic abuse assault.
2:28 a.m. -- Fairfield police assisted the S.E. Iowa Drug Task Force.
3:22 a.m. -- Police assisted the S.E. Iowa Drug Task Force in the 2100 block of South Main.
