Friday

7:32 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

7:38 a.m. - Gunshots were reported at 10th and Carpenter.

9:21 a.m. - Police assisted a motorist with directions to a destination at Burlington and Glasgow.

11:47 a.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams Court.

12:33 p.m. - A citizen provided a crime tip.

3:44 p.m. - Police investigated simple assault in the 300 block of East Briggs.

4:35 p.m. - An arrest on a warrant was made at Jefferson County Jail.

10:55 p.m. - Police checked Chautauqua Park after park hours.

10:56 p.m. - Police investigated theft in the 400 block of North Fourth.

11:16 p.m. - Police checked Waterworks Park after park hours.

11:38 p.m. - Police checked B and Zimmerman after park hours.

Saturday

12:01 a.m. - Police saw suspicious activity at a storage facility.

12:39 a.m. - A written warning was issued at Sixth and Jackson for failing to stop at a stop sign.

2:15 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at Sixth and Broadway.

2:44 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Second and Burlington for failure to dim lights.

4:02 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at B and Burlington for an equipment infraction.

4:13 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported at Briggs and Second.

8:59 a.m. - Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 300 block of South Sixth.

9:46 a.m. - Burglary was reported in the 800 block of West Depot.

11:41 a.m. - A business alarm sounded in the 400 block of South 23rd.

1:38 p.m. - Police provided assistance in the 800 block of West Stone.

3:05 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued in the 2000 block of West Burlington for a traffic violation.

3:50 p.m. - Police investigated offenses at Third and Broadway. At 3:53 p.m., Derek James Vonende, 46, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with harassment of public officers and employees and interference with official acts.

3:56 p.m. - Trespassing was reported in the 500 block of West Broadway.

7: 13 p.m. - Police received a fire call in the 200 block of South Main.

8:52 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 600 block of East Broadway.

8:54 p.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 100 block of South Maple.

9:15 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of South 17th.

9:52 p.m. - Disturbing the peace was reported in the 900 block of West Tyler.

10:25 p.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 900 block of West Hempstead.

10:50 p.m. - Extra patrol was requested in the 700 block of North Fifth.

11:01 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued in the 900 block of North B for failure to dim headlights.

11:03 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 1900 block of Gear.
