The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

Sunday

1:48 a.m. - A municipal infractions citation was issued at 32nd and Burlington for speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone.

4:11 a.m. - Police assisted the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

7:26 a.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 2500 block of West Burlington.

7:34 a.m. - Police investigated theft of a motor vehicle in the 1100 block of University Manor Drive.

9:29 a.m. - An abandoned vehicle was towed from the 400 block of North B.

10:30 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Sixth and Harrison for a traffic violation.

10:57 a.m. - Police investigated the theft of a motor vehicle in the 2000 block of North Court.

11:58 a.m. - Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering in the 1100 block of University Manor Drive.

12:37 p.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 2500 block of West Burlington.

1:01 p.m. - A stab/gun shot wound was reported in the 400 block of West Burlington.

1:28 p.m. - Phone harassment was reported in the 800 block of West Broadway.

2:46 p.m. - An overdose/poisoning was reported in the 1100 block of West Burlington.

6:24 p.m. - Stolen property, buying, receiving was reported in the 2000 block of South Main.

7:15 p.m. - An animal concern was reported at Third and Burlington.

7:35 p.m. - A municipal infraction citation was issued at 32nd and Burlington for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone.

7:54 p.m. - A municipal infraction was issued in the 1600 block of West Burlington for a traffic violation.

8:02 p.m. - Harassment was reported in the 1000 block of North Eighth. The subject was advised that it was a civil issue. The subject was evicted and the end of the 30 days was on July 16.

8:35 p.m. - Shane Thompson, 28, of Fairfield, was arrested in the 500 block of West Deport for probation violation.

9:55 p.m. - Police assisted a motorist at Waterworks Park.

10:38 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Maple and Burlington for a traffic violation.

10:46 p.m. - Police checked Waterworks Park after park hours.

10:58 p.m. - Police checked a vehicle parked at the B and Zimmerman trailhead after park hours. The vehicle was unoccupied.

11:03 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Sixth and Burlington for a brake light outage.

Monday

1:01 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of West Monroe. Police checked the house and found nothing to suggest that anyone had been there.

1:23 a.m. - Police checked a building in the 2200 block of Walton Lake Road.

4:37 a.m. - Police assisted the Ottumwa Police Department.

9:22 a.m. - Harassment was reported in the 400 block of North B.

10:01 a.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Main and Lowe for a traffic violation.

2:05 p.m. - Police provided court assistance in the 100 block of North Main.

2:53 p.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 1500 block of Woodside Circle.

3:03 p.m. - Theft was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road.

4:01 p.m. - A controlled substance was reported in the 400 block of North F.

4:24 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of South 20th.

5:56 p.m. - A caller said her car, parked in the 2000 block of North Court, had been gone through, but nothing was taken.

7:21 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Washington and Main for a traffic violation.

8:16 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 50 block of South Main.

8:34 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fifth and Burlington for no front plate.

9:40 p.m. - Harassment was reported in the 400 block of North B.

10:15 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Adams and Highland for failing to obey a stop sign.

10:40 p.m. - Psychiatric behavior was reported in the 400 block of South Fourth.

11:21 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 1000 block of West Burlington.

11:33 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Lowe for a broken plate light.
