The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

Monday

12:56 a.m. - Police assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office at Main and Jefferson.

3:17 a.m. - A citation was issued in the alley between Jackson and Van Buren to Richard Donald Chambers, 62, of Fairfield, for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

3:16 a.m. - A K-9 search was requested in the alley between Jackson and Van Buren.

4:23 a.m. - Police observed suspicious activity in the 600 block of West Jackson.

6:58 a.m. - Police checked a building in the 400 block of West Lowe.

7:59 a.m. - Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 100 block of South 23rd.

8:03 a.m. - Road closings were reported in Fairfield.

8:09 a.m. - A juvenile issue was reported at Eighth and Grimes.

8:41 a.m. - A citation was issued at C and Burlington to Laura Lee Fischer, 53, of Fairfield, for failure to maintain registration.

9:17 a.m. - An animal concern was reported in the 1000 block of West Briggs.

10:25 a.m. - Police investigated assault in the 2000 block of South Main.

11:05 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of West Burlington.
