The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

Tuesday

6:57 a.m. - Police provided warrant service in the 300 block of East Buchanan.

9:26 a.m. - A controlled substance was reported in the 1300 block of West Jackson.

10:20 a.m. - Police provided warrant service in the 300 block of East Buchanan.

11:40 a.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of North Court.

12:17 p.m. - Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of West Madison.

1:57 p.m. - A road closure was reported on 230th Street in Batavia.

2:41 p.m. - A citation was issued at Fourth and Harrison to Ferenc Conti, 63, of Fairfield, for failure to obey a stop or yield sign.

2:55 p.m. - Police served notices in the 50 block of West Broadway.

3:05 p.m. - A parking concern was reported in the alley behind the 400 block of North Court.

4:12 p.m. - Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 300 block of South 15th.

5:06 p.m. - Crossing arm malfunctions were reported at the 23rd Street railroad crossing.

5:19 p.m. - Police investigated criminal mischief/vandalism in the 100 block of East Jefferson.

5:36 p.m. - A hazardous road condition was reported on Fillmore between Second and Third streets.

5:44 p.m. - A hazardous road condition was reported at Adams and Ninth.

6:02 p.m. - A barking dog was reported in the 1500 block of Woodside Circle.

7:58 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued at 15th and Jackson. The vehicle was stopped for not having plates. The owner had bought the vehicle July 11. The owner was reminded he had 30 days from the date of purchase to get it registered in his name.

8:32 p.m. - Police provided warrant service in the 300 block of East Buchanan.

8:58 p.m. - A verbal warning was issued in the 300 block of West Burlington. The vehicle was stopped for not having plates. The driver had not put the dealer plates on yet.

9:36 p.m. - A fire complaint was made at the end of West Burlington.

10 p.m. - A dangerous driver was reported at D and Burlington.

10:22 p.m. - A citation was issued in the 1200 block of West Grimes to Bryce Allen Vorhies, 28, of Fairfield, for registration violation and failure to prove security against liability (nonaccident related).

10:41 p.m. - Fairfield and Ottumwa police spoke about a missing person.

11:25 p.m. - A domestic disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Fillmore.
