Police seek information on doll hanging above business
Fairfield police are looking for two men who discovered a doll hanging over a downtown Fairfield business late Sunday afternoon.

Fairfield police are looking for two men who discovered a doll hanging over a downtown Fairfield business late Sunday afternoon.
According to a press release from the police department, at about 4:20 p.m. Sunday, two middle-aged males driving a maroon or red compact car discovered a doll hanging over a business on the west side of the square near Burlington Avenue. The two men pointed out the doll to other individuals in the area.
The police want to speak with the two individuals who originally discovered the doll. The first is described as a white male in his 40s, 250 to 300 pounds, with long blond or white hair and a long blond or grayish beard. He was wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap.
The second is described as a white male, 35 to 40 years old, about 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, short hair and wearing a T-shirt with writing on it and light-colored jeans.
The police department is asking anyone who saw or has information about the child?s baby doll hanging from the building to call the Jefferson County Law Center at 472-4146.
