UPDATE: Missing Kalona teen found
KALONA — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday that law enforcement officers had located missing Kalona teen Bridget Stone in Washington.
“We would like to thank everyone for their cooperation in getting the message out that she was missing and for providing information that led to the Washington Police Department locating her today,” the county agency said in an email.
Authorities said Stone, who sometimes goes by the name “Piedra,” was reported missing on Feb. 12, when the 16-year-old was seen on foot and identifiable via tongue and nose piercings, a tattoo above her left eyebrow and a blue NASA sweatshirt.
