Possible burglary halted, pair charged with trespassing
Two county residents were arrested in what the Henry County Sheriff's Office is terming a foiled burglary attempt.
The sheriff's office received a call Sept. 16, alerting officials of a possible burglary in progress in the 300 block of East Cherry Street in Salem.
An investigation led to the arrest of Caleb Martin, 29, New London, and Rebekah Donaldson, 31, Mt. Pleasant. Both were charged with trespassing.

Two county residents were arrested in what the Henry County Sheriff?s Office is terming a foiled burglary attempt.
The sheriff?s office received a call Sept. 16, alerting officials of a possible burglary in progress in the 300 block of East Cherry Street in Salem.
An investigation led to the arrest of Caleb Martin, 29, New London, and Rebekah Donaldson, 31, Mt. Pleasant. Both were charged with trespassing.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
