Favorable weather Tuesday allowed Jones Contracting to pour some of the driveways to businesses located on North Iris Street. Favorable weather Tuesday allowed Jones Contracting to pour some of the driveways to businesses located on North Iris Street. The Iris Street project, which began last spring and was repeatedly interrupted by inclement weather last summer, is nearing its final stages. Continued dry weather would have possibly allowed the project to be completed by the end of this month. However, rain in the forecast the next several days may delay completion until early July.
