From left, Pastor Mark Brase presents a check for $200 Wednesday to Josh Phillips, T.J. Terrell and Adam Melcher, all members of the Fairfield Fire Department, who had just given a program on fire safety to the children at Mother's Day Out Preschool, which made the donation. The money will go to the department's Firepup Program, which teaches children about fire safety. The three firefighters who received the check have children at the preschool. Of the $200 donated, $100 of those dollars came from the preschool's prize for winning first place in the Kiwanis Kids' Day float competition.
