Primitive arts, skills explored at ?knap-in?
This weekend, the ancient art of stone toolmaking will be featured at the ?Skunk River Knap-in,? a primitive arts and skills gathering in Oakland Mills.
Demonstrations will be given throughout the event, which takes place Oct. 5 to 7.
A target range will be set up to show off your atlatl or primitive bow skills.
Flintknappers and primitive craftsmen will also be showing and selling their crafts.
