Priscilla Ann Holtkamp, 84, of rural Mt. Hamill, died on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at her home.
Friends may call after 2 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at St. James the Less Catholic Church, in St. Paul, where the family will receive friends from 3:30 to 7 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m., and a Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on ...

Priscilla Ann Holtkamp, 84, of rural Mt. Hamill, died on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at her home.
Friends may call after 2 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at St. James the Less Catholic Church, in St. Paul, where the family will receive friends from 3:30 to 7 p.m. A Parish Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m., and a Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at St. James the Less Catholic Church, in St. Paul, with Rev. Bruce DeRammelaere as celebrant. Burial will be at St. James Catholic Cemetery, in St. Paul.
Memorials have been established in her memory for St. James Catholic Cemetery, HTC Catholic Schools or Regina Catholic Schools. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.schmitzfuneralhomes.com. Schmitz Funeral Home, in West Point, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
Holtkamp was born on Jan. 26, 1932, in Mt. Hamill, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Conrad) Pieper. She was a 1949 graduate of St. John?s High School, in Houghton. On June 20, 1950, she married Wilbert Holtkamp, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Houghton.
Holtkamp is survived by her husband, Bert, of Mt. Hamill; two daughters, Margaret Kaltefleiter, of Coralville; and Anne (Dan) Menke, of Donnellson, three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Greg (Jeanne) Pieper, of St. Paul; and Damien Pieper, of Iowa City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Anthony and Jesse; one sister, Mary Kathryn; and two brothers, LeRoy and Charles.
She was a member of St. James the Less Catholic Church, in St. Paul.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, crafting, attending card clubs, and spending time with her family.
