Progress being made on Iris Street
In between showers, progress is being made on the North Iris Street reconstruction project, according to Warner Engineering Associates of Mt. Pleasant, the engineering firm for the project.
Currently, the main emphasis is opening the Iris/Commerce streets intersection for traffic. The subdrain has been completed at the intersection and the last driveway has been graded.

In between showers, progress is being made on the North Iris Street reconstruction project, according to Warner Engineering Associates of Mt. Pleasant, the engineering firm for the project.
Currently, the main emphasis is opening the Iris/Commerce streets intersection for traffic. The subdrain has been completed at the intersection and the last driveway has been graded.
Warner said the plan is to open the intersection to traffic Monday, Aug. 25.
