Progress on the jail continues

Progress continues on the Henry County Jail, which John Hanson, with Midwest Construction Consultants, said could be finished by the end of June. The walls are almost up and roofing will start Monday over the administration area of the jail. Plumbing has passed inspection and electrical work is underway. During a board of supervisors meeting on Thursday, Nov. 15, Hansen said he doesn't foresee frost being a big issue with 'decent weather” on the horizon.
