Promotions made at Cambridge
Recent promotions have been announced at Cambridge Investment Research Inc.?s headquarters in Fairfield.
Anna Wiseman has been promoted to a senior partner support representative. Wiseman joined Cambridge in 2005. Wiseman is responsible for helping Cambridge rep-advisors with any questions and concerns regarding the operational processes and procedures of the firm?s performance reporting tool, CIRStatements. In her new role, Wiseman also will be responsible for training new team members and serving as a subject matter expert.
Carrie Brownlee has been promoted to a senior partner support representative. Brownlee joined Cambridge in September 2008. In her new role, Brownlee will continue assisting rep-advisors with any questions and concerns regarding CIRStatements and Pershing operational processes and procedures. She also will assist with training new associates.
Denise Weirup has been promoted to senior imaging and document services coordinator. Weirup has been with Cambridge since August 2009. In her new role, she will continue processing documents received via the Cambridge Logistics and Information Center, troubleshooting paperwork in the administrative queue, logging mail, and monitoring workflow. She also will be responsible for training new associates and assisting with special projects as needed.
Elise Ray has been promoted to a senior partner support representative. Ray joined Cambridge in August 2007. Ray is responsible for helping Cambridge rep-advisors with questions and concerns regarding operational processes and procedures, as well as compensation. In her new role, Ray will work with the resolution team to field requests requiring follow-up and resolve escalated issues.
Kaylee Stookesberry has been promoted to senior brokerage onboarding specialist. Stookesberry joined Cambridge in October 2009. Over the last two years, she has taken on additional duties in her department including updating reference material, presenting at team meetings, tackling high profile projects, training new associates, managing the Piece of the Puzzle program, and processing extremely high numbers in her team?s project queue.
Several Cambridge employees also passed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority exams recently.
Adam Sawyer, Ashley Treadway, Carrie Lathrop, Eric Henderson and Shelley Ritter passed the Series 7 (General Securities Registered Representative), which is considered to be one of the more comprehensive and lengthy exams administered by FINRA, mainly because it is required of anyone who intends to become a licensed stock broker. Although most Cambridge associates are not registered representatives, the wealth of industry knowledge gained from preparing for the exam is invaluable and enables them to better understand the unique issues related to serving Cambridge advisors.
Mandy Moore, Peter Fenton and Sarah Hoffman passed the Series 24 (General Securities Principal) exam, which covers topics such as supervision of investment banking, trading, customer accounts and the primary/secondary markets. Principals are qualified to supervise or manage certain activities and approve sales and advertising literature.
