Sunny, mild weather the past couple weeks has been welcomed by crews working to finish the North Iris reconstruction project. The project began last spring but a rainy summer prevented its completion, so construction began this spring where it left off last fall. Workers from Jones Contracting were busy this week pouring the recreational trail on the west side of the street north of the railroad tracks. Crews with the BNSF Railroad also were working on finishing the railroad crossing on the street.
