The Washington County Engineer’s Office announced Tuesday that road closures can be expected on paved county roadways as a contractor works to patch deteriorated pavement.
Work began on Wednesday morning.
The roads to be worked on include Ginkgo Avenue (W-38) and 190th Street (G-26).
The work will reduce traffic to one lane in work areas for periods of time.
The work is expected to take 2-3 weeks, weather permitting.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution in construction zones and pay attention to roadway signage.
Cedar Falls Construction Co. of Cedar Falls is the contractor on the project.
