Restaurants offer options for Thanksgiving dinner

WASHINGTON - With a recent spike in COVID-19 cases, Iowa Public Health is recommending people avoid large family gatherings, so a few Washington restaurants are offering an alternative.

The following restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving Day, with many serving classic holiday dishes.

Cafe Dodici: Offering a special Thanksgiving menu and will be offering carryout and dine-in options. Visit cafe-Dodici-106023.square.site for hours of operations and details on how to order and make reservations - advance notice is required.

Dodici Shop: Will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hy-Vee: Will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Roberts Buffet: Holiday dishes served at the Riverside Casino from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Frontier Family Restaurant: Will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Turkey served.

The following restaurants will be closed Thanksgiving Day: Ainsworth Four Corners, Dinos Pizza and Steakhouse, JP's 207, Lebowski's, McDonald's, Mi Pueblo Real, Panda Palace, Pizza Ranch and Unc N Nephs.
