Ribbon-cutting held for upgraded trail at Lake Darling

The Friends of Lake Darling held a ribbon-cutting ceremony over the weekend to celebrate the opening of a new interpretive trail connecting the state park’s campground with its lodge and beach area.
Organizers offered brief remarks at the event, which saw a handful of Washington Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and other guests walk part of the trail. The Friends of Lake Darling also spotlighted the park’s 75th anniversary later in the afternoon.
