Riverboat announces municipal grants
WASHINGTON — The Washington County Riverboat Foundation (WCRF) is pleased to announce first quarter 2023 grant awards totaling $302,775.80 through its Municipal Grant program.
WCRF Municipal Grant program distributes 25% of its total revenues directly to the cities in Washington County based on their population.
Those grants have totaled $14,409,926.70 since the opening of the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in 2006.
These funds are programmed by each City Council. The first quarter 2023 municipal grant amounts for each Washington County community were as follows:
- Ainsworth: $9,083.27
- Brighton: $9,991.60
- Crawfordsville: $6,055.52
- Kalona: $56,770.47
- Riverside: $22,102.63
- Washington: $162,742.00
- Wellman: $33,305.33
- West Chester: $2,724.98
