Riverboat grant deadline passes

WASHINGTON — The Washington County Riverboat Foundation has closed the Fall Grant Application Cycle with 46 submitted applications asking for a total of $9,308,295. The board will invite five selected applicants to present their grant requests Sept. 14 at the YMCA in Washington.
In May, the Riverboat Foundation awarded $3,435,693.00 to 17 grant recipients.
The WCRF is the nonprofit license holder for the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, which provides all of its funding.
